At Steffens Automotive we are always striving to come up with new and innovative ideas when it comes to new products and even improving our products already on the market. That is why after feedback from many of our customers, along with some research and development, we can officially say as of June 2012 all of our G4 Elite Fold-a-Cover models coming out of our Factory Store  for current model year truck applications no longer require any type of drilling to install them on your truck!

This will alleviate some of the inconveniences that are associated with the other types of mounting systems on older model trucks. Now when you buy directly from us your current model year application G4 Elite will come with a mounting system the does not require drilling. This will ensure that the installation of your Fold-a-Cover will go smoother than ever. With the exception of the Nissan Frontier, Nissan Titan, Chevrolet Colorado, and GMC Canyon, which still have an adhesive mounting system, all other G4 Elite Fold-a-Cover’s have a clamp-on mounting system. This will allow you to freely adjust the tonneau cover rails at any time during the installation giving you the ability to easily align your G4 Elite so that it can provide you with the most protection from the elements as possible.
